Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.

Empowering Educators

Teachers, Counselors, and School Administrators have a demanding role in the Schools that can leave one feeling stressed, burned-out, and overwhelmed.  In addition, our society often under appreciates the role in educating our children.   Just because we have summers off doesn't mean we have cush jobs leaving many educators feeling little or no support.  In fact, to many Educators, the  reason that many of you--including myself--chose the field was because it wasof a great calling or passion deep in our hearts to educate our Youth.  With increasing demands put on school staff due to testing, constant project deadlines, never-ending trainings, new initiatives,  benchmark testing, etc, Educators Are Simply Tired.

This mounting pressure can take a toll on mental health.   High-achieving educators often have perfectionist and/or g0-getter mindsets that maybe met with Anxiety when the check-list is not completed!   If you asked yourself how much longer you can hang out, Counseling may be a place for you to start thinking about your current situation. I help people who work in the schools feel more energized, productive, and positive in their role with providing a place of encouragement to unload your emotional burdens.

I support, encourage, and empower my fellow Educators in the following areas:

  • Mindfulness
  • Goal-Setting
  • Career Discernment - Is Education Right For Me?
  • Improving Peer Relationships
  • Building Self-Confidence
  • Letting Go of Insecurity
  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Letting Go of Perfection
  • Creating a Self-Care Routine with Burn-Out
  • Stress Management
  • Balancing Personal and Work Life
  • Beginning Years' Teaching/Counselor Support
